Kathleen is a highly qualified advocate with over 20 years of experience and a proven record of success throughout Connecticut. Her reputation as a powerful advocate is rooted in her depth of experience and data driven approach. She has published multiple tool kits to empower parents of children with disabilities. Kathleen has presented to parent organizations across the state on a variety of educational topics. She has designed and taught advocacy courses targeting both parent and professional advocates for state and national organizations. She successfully led a coalition of parents and professionals lobbying legislators resulting in the passing of a state bill that addresses special education evaluations. Kathleen is passionate about helping parents and other advocates obtain superior programming  for children.

 

Education

Kathleen graduated with honors from Boston College with a dual major in Special/ Elementary Education and received a Master’s degree from San Francisco State University in Educational Administration.

Kathleen has extensive experience and exceptional knowledge regarding the nuances of the special education field, therefore her ability to assist parents in making the most advantageous decisions regarding education for their children is unparalleled.  We will continue to highly recommend Kathleen Casparino as an Educational Advisor.
